Derribó los altares paganos, redujo a polvo los ídolos de la diosa Aserá, destruyó las imágenes y derribó los altares en que se quemaba incienso. Hizo esto en todo el territorio de Israel antes de regresar a Jerusalén.

He broke down the altars, and beat the Asherah poles and the engraved images into powder, and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel, then returned to Jerusalem.
