Mientras tanto, Jamor, padre de Siquén, fue a hablar con Jacob. Llegó en el mismo momento en que los hijos de Jacob regresaban del campo. Al enterarse de lo sucedido se llenaron de ira, pues lo que Siquén hizo fue una ofensa muy grande para Israel. ¡Eso nunca debió haberlo hecho!
