Este límite se extendía desde el río Jordán en Jericó, a través del desierto y de la región montañosa, hasta Betel. De allí seguía hasta Luz y hasta Atarot, en el territorio de los arquitas; y hacia el occidente hasta la frontera de los jafletitas, hasta Bet Jorón la de abajo luego hasta Guézer y de allí hacia el mar Mediterráneo.
