Cuando Joab se enteró de la muerte de Adonías, corrió al santuario en busca de refugio y se aferró a los cuernos del altar. Joab había apoyado la revuelta de Adonías, aunque no la de Absalón.

World English Bible (WEB)

This news came to Joab; for Joab had followed Adonijah, although he didn’t follow Absalom. Joab fled to Yahweh’s Tent, and held onto the horns of the altar.
