Ben Adad le dijo: ―Te devolveré las ciudades que mi padre le quitó al tuyo, para que puedas establecer puestos de comercio en Damasco, como mi padre hizo en Samaria. Acab le contestó: ―Siendo así, te dejaré en libertad. De este modo Acab hizo un pacto con Ben Adad, y lo dejó ir.

Ben Hadad said to him, “The cities which my father took from your father I will restore. You shall make streets for yourself in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria.” “I”, said Ahab, “will let you go with this covenant.” So he made a covenant with him, and let him go.
