El rey Salomón gobernó toda la región que se extiende desde el río Éufrates hasta la tierra de los filisteos, y hasta las fronteras con Egipto. Los pueblos de esas tierras pagaban sus tributos a Salomón y continuaron sirviéndole a través de toda su vida.
