Esta es la frase final de la carta a Filadelfia, una iglesia pequeña y de poca fuerza que se había mantenido fiel a Cristo. A diferencia de otras iglesias, recibe aliento sin reproche alguno, junto con la promesa de una puerta abierta y de protección en la hora de la prueba.
