Yo, el rey Artajerjes, envío este decreto a todos los tesoreros de las provincias que están al occidente del río Éufrates y les ordeno que le entreguen a Esdras cuanto él les pida, porque él es sacerdote y maestro de la ley del Dios del cielo.

I, even I Artaxerxes the king, make a decree to all the treasurers who are beyond the River, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, requires of you, it shall be done with all diligence,
