¿Habrá en todo el país sitio en que no hayas sido deshonrada por tus adulterios, es decir, tu adoración de esos otros dioses? Te sientas como prostituta en espera de cliente al lado del camino. Te sientas sola como acostumbran hacerlo los beduinos del desierto. Has corrompido la tierra con tu indigna prostitución.

“Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? You have sat waiting for them by the road, as an Arabian in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness.
