―¡No es cierto! —dijo Jeremías—. ¡No tengo la menor intención de hacer tal cosa! Pero Irías no le hizo caso; llevó a Jeremías ante los funcionarios de la ciudad.

World English Bible (WEB)

Then Jeremiah said, “That is false! I am not defecting to the Chaldeans.” But he didn’t listen to him; so Irijah siezed Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.
