“It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.”
Paul is reminding the Corinthians that God chose the weak and lowly so no one could boast in his presence. He has just said that God is the source of their life in Christ.
