“Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people!”
Peter and John have healed a lame man at the temple and preached to the crowd, and the priests, the captain of the temple and the Sadducees have arrested them. The next day they stand before the Jewish rulers, elders and scribes in Jerusalem.
