“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
In Colossians 1:24-29 Paul describes his ministry of making known the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to God's people. In Paul's usage a mystery is not a puzzle but a truth once hidden that God has now disclosed.
