Jeremiah 10:1

Jeremiah 10 contrasts the idols of the nations with the living God. It mocks the craftsmanship of carved wooden idols that cannot speak or walk, and praises the Lord as the true God, the everlasting king who made the earth by his power.

Jeremiah 10:2This is what the LORD says: “Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by the signs in the heavens, though the nations themselves are terrified by them.
Jeremiah 10:10But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God and eternal King. The earth quakes at His wrath, and the nations cannot endure His indignation.
Isaiah 44:9All makers of idols are nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless. Their witnesses fail to see or comprehend, so they are put to shame.
