“So they asked Him, “What sign then will You perform, so that we may see it and believe You? What will You do?”
The crowd that Jesus fed with five loaves finds him on the other side of the lake, and he tells them to work not for food that perishes but for food that endures. They ask what they must do to perform the works of God, and he says to believe in the one God has sent.
