“And the LORD said to Joshua, “Behold, I have delivered Jericho into your hand, along with its king and its mighty men of valor.”
Israel had crossed the Jordan and stood before Jericho, a fortified city with its gates shut tight. Before any battle, the commander of the Lord's army spoke to Joshua.
