Study note

Psalms 118 is the final psalm of the Egyptian Hallel, the group of Psalms 113 to 118 sung at Passover, and it may have been the hymn Jesus and his disciples sang after the Last Supper. It is a song of thanksgiving from someone surrounded by enemies who was rescued by the Lord.
