Psalms 126:5

Study note

Psalms 126 is a Song of Ascents that remembers the overwhelming joy when the Lord restored Zion's fortunes, likely the return from exile in Babylon, when it felt like a dream. Yet the psalm also asks God to restore them again, like streams that suddenly fill dry riverbeds in the Negev.
