Study note

Psalms 29, a psalm of David, is a hymn celebrating the Lord's power in a thunderstorm that sweeps in from the Mediterranean over Lebanon and down to the wilderness of Kadesh. The first verse calls on the heavenly beings, literally sons of God or mighty ones, to ascribe glory and strength to the Lord.
