“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.”

Psalms 56:3

Study note

The title of Psalm 56 links it to the time the Philistines seized David in Gath, the same episode behind Psalm 34. David was a fugitive from Saul among Israel's enemies, surrounded by people twisting his words and lurking to take his life.
