“For better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.”
Psalms 84 is a song of the sons of Korah that expresses longing for the temple courts. It envies the sparrows that nest near God's altar and blesses the pilgrims who travel toward Zion, finding springs even in dry valleys.
