“And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.”
Paul has just said that the Spirit helps us in our weakness, because we do not know how to pray as we should. The Spirit intercedes with wordless groans, and this verse explains why such prayer is heard.
