Tiempo después, cuando el rey Roboán envió a Adonirán, que era el supervisor del trabajo obligatorio, a que alistara hombres de otras tribus, una gran multitud lo apedreó hasta darle muerte. El rey Roboán se trepó a su carro y logró huir a Jerusalén.

Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the men subject to forced labor; and all Israel stoned him to death with stones. King Rehoboam hurried to get himself up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
