Entonces José fue a enterrar a su padre. Con él fueron su familia, sus hermanos y el resto de la familia de Jacob. En Gosén sólo dejaron a los niños, las ovejas y las vacas. Además, los acompañaron un gran número de funcionarios y consejeros del faraón, y los hombres importantes de Egipto.
