Ezekiel 16:1

Study note

Ezekiel 16 is the longest chapter in the book and one of the most shocking allegories in Scripture. Speaking to exiles who still took pride in Jerusalem, it retells the city's history as the story of an abandoned baby girl whom God rescued, raised and married, and who then betrayed him.
