“So they answered Joshua, “Everything you have commanded us we will do, and everywhere you send us we will go.”
Moses has died, and God has commissioned Joshua to lead Israel into the promised land. Joshua then gives orders to the officers and reminds the eastern tribes of the promise they made to Moses.
