Philippians 3
Berean Standard Bible21 verses · 2 min read
Paul warns against those who put confidence in outward credentials and lists his own impressive résumé, only to call it loss compared with knowing Christ. He wants a righteousness that comes through faith in Christ rather than through the law, and to share in Christ's sufferings and resurrection. Paul admits he has not yet arrived, but presses on toward the goal, forgetting what lies behind. He contrasts those who live as enemies of the cross with believers whose citizenship is in heaven and who await a Savior who will transform their bodies.
