Saray la tomó y se la llevó a Abram para que durmiera con ella. Saray le dijo a Abram: ―Como el Señor no me ha permitido tener hijos, te ruego que te acuestes con mi esclava, para que yo pueda tener hijos por medio de ella. Abram estuvo de acuerdo con lo que le propuso Saray. Esto ocurrió cuando ya llevaban diez años viviendo en Canaán.
