Proverbs 22
Berean Standard Bible29 verses · 2 min read
A good name is more desirable than great riches. The chapter observes that rich and poor share one thing: the Lord made them all. It advises training a child in the way he should go, warns that the prudent see danger and take cover, and notes that the rich rule the poor and the borrower serves the lender. Here begins a section gathering thirty sayings of the wise, with counsel not to exploit the poor or move ancient boundary stones.
