Job 36
Berean Standard Bible33 verses · 2 min read
Elihu says he has more to say on God's behalf. He affirms that God is mighty yet does not despise anyone, gives justice to the afflicted, and keeps his eyes on the righteous. He suggests that when people are bound in affliction, God is opening their ears to instruction and calling them to turn back. Those who listen live in prosperity, while those who resist face ruin. He warns Job not to be enticed by anger and points to God's greatness, whose years cannot be counted, who draws up drops of water and pours them as rain.
