Job 39
Berean Standard Bible30 verses · 2 min read
God continues his questions with the wild animals: the mountain goats, deer, wild donkey, wild ox, ostrich, horse, hawk, and eagle. Each is free, strong, or strange in ways humans do not control or fully understand, and God provides for them all. The ostrich seems foolish yet outruns the horse; the horse charges into battle with fearless joy; the eagle spies its prey from the heights. The passage celebrates a world where wildness has its place under God's care. It gently reminds Job that the world is bigger and more mysterious than his complaint can hold.
