Psalms 12
Berean Standard Bible8 verses · 1 min read
David cries out for help because the faithful have vanished and people speak with flattering lips and a double heart. He asks God to silence the boasters. God answers that because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, he will now rise and give safety to those who long for it. His words are pure, like silver refined seven times, and he will keep the needy safe forever. The psalm ends by noting that the wicked still strut around when what is vile is honored among people.
