About this chapterA joyful call for all peoples to clap and shout to God, the awesome great king over all the earth. He subdued nations for Israel and chose an inheritance for his people. God has gone up with a shout and the sound of trumpets, and everyone is told to sing praises to him, and to do so with understanding. He reigns over the nations from his holy throne, and the leaders of the earth gather as the people of the God of Abraham. Some Christians link it to Christ's ascension.
