The grand finale of the book of Psalms, a burst of praise in six short verses. It answers where, why, how, and who. Praise God in his sanctuary and in his mighty heavens, for his mighty deeds and surpassing greatness. Praise him with trumpet, harp, lyre, tambourine, dancing, strings, pipe, and loud clashing cymbals. The last line calls for everything that has breath to praise the Lord, closing the whole collection of prayers, laments, and songs with an unrestrained invitation to worship, followed by the final Hallelujah.
