Psalms 41
Berean Standard Bible13 verses · 1 min read
The psalm opens by blessing the one who cares for the poor, promising that God will protect and sustain such a person. Then David is sick and surrounded by enemies who whisper that he will die, and even a close friend who shared his bread has turned against him. Jesus applied that line to Judas. David asks for mercy and healing, confident God delights in him. The psalm closes Book One of the Psalms with a blessing of the Lord, from everlasting to everlasting.
