Psalms 8
Berean Standard Bible9 verses · 1 min read
A hymn of wonder. The name of the Lord is majestic in all the earth, and even the praise of children silences his adversaries. Looking at the moon and stars, David marvels that God cares for humankind, whom he made a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned with glory and honor, giving them stewardship over animals, birds and fish. The psalm begins and ends with the same praise. The letter to the Hebrews connects it to Jesus, who took on humanity and is crowned with glory.
