Psalms 133
Berean Standard Bible3 verses · 1 min read
A three-verse psalm of David on how good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity. That unity is likened to fragrant oil poured on the head of Aaron, running down his beard and over the collar of his robes, and to the dew of Mount Hermon falling on the mountains of Zion. Both images suggest abundance, refreshment, and blessing shared freely. The psalm ends by saying that in that place the Lord commanded the blessing, life forevermore. It is a short reminder that community, and not just individual devotion, is where God's blessing is found.
